Thirfting (verb)

Thrifting (verb): Thrifting refers to the act of shopping at a thrift store, flea market, garage sale, or a shop of a charitable organization, usually with the intent of finding interesting items at a cheap price. (def from wikipedia.com)

This weekend some friends and I took a lovely trip to the local Salvation Army where amazing fashion and unheard-of deals abound. Great outfits came out of the trip including (but not limited to): a prairie dress likely dating from the 1800's, seer sucker pants + red shirt + blazer + hat, mismatched pajama, leather skirt + SouthPole leopard shirt, another leopard shirt/leather skirt combination, and a blue blazer (even though the sleeves were too short).

To say the least, it was a thrifty but stylish bunch.

Hard times call for good times!
