Today was one of those all around enjoyed weekend days...Despite insistent rain and the sun's indecision upon making a sustained appearance, the day functioned as any other might. My friend Stacey and I began the morning with a trip to the local farmer's market where she purchased some sweet produce and I took photos. The crowd and merchants were both spars b/c of the rain but there were gourds being sold at nearly every corner and a sprinkling of vegan granola, pumpkin brittle, and earl gray chocolate in between.
I love the Cville Farmer's market. Note to self: where ever I end up next year/in the future should have one.
After a lazy afternoon watching the game on tv and chatting with a few people, a friend and I decided to catch dinner and a movie. While eating our thai food and watching Becoming Jane we both considered what life would be like to live in a different era. What would men's and women's roles be like? What kinds of clothes would we wear? Would we be the scandalous and rebellious type or the settled married lady? Kelly thought it would be really fun to live in at least 3 eras in a life time...I think I may just settle for one; it can be confusing enough.
