Hall o' Ween; Bail o' Hay

I adore the drive to Cville. I don't know if I could live in the country but I certainly don't mind driving through it and taking in all the greenness and wide expansive space, the grazing animals, and the backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Goodness, it's so beautiful!

On my drive today, I saw the cutest Halloween decoration, truly appropriate for the farmland that it sat on. If you can imagine 2 bails of hay dyed orange with enormous googly eyes (i don't think you can find them that big at Michaels) and pipe-cleaner-like black legs so that they looked like really large spiders. I don't particularly like spiders but for some odd reason, I thoroughly enjoy Halloween decoration and this one definitely brought a smile to my face.

cheers.

  1. how do you go? I go 28 to 29 and it's not that pretty to me until you get into Madison or so. BUT my favorite drive EVER is cutting down 15 into Orange. GORGEOUS.
