quick run down of why today was a good day (b/c i'm tired and feel deserving of sleep):
- woke up to a text from a friend wishing me a happy day. awesome. what a nice reminder!
- spent my morning studying for an exam that i fell asleep studying for the night before at 3:30am
- had class and learned about Johnathan Edwards' Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God- a text I read in high school. which was a throw back to my hardass english teacher Dr. Brent, who just retired from teaching.
- took an exam which was reasonably easy! yes!
- had a spontaneous/on the fly dinner w/ Tom and Cronk at Qdoba (chicken quesadilla's are da bomb diggadie)
- had a NOF (Nicaraguan Orphan Fund) interest meeting. Ashley and I put together a sweet presentation so that was fun
- went to a FOCUS (my fellowship from high school) meeting with local parents trying to start it at STAB (a high school here in cville)
- watched 1 hr long office and survivor at friends' house and chatted it up for awhile
- came home to a HUGE package at my door: my DRUM is finally here! yay.
things to look forward to tmrw:
- no class
- breakfast w/ a friend
- potential trip to spudnuts
- jammin on my new djembe...and hopefully naming it (recommendations accepted)
- hanging w/ ppl coming into town for homecoming wknd!
gnight world.
