FOCUS Cville Weekend
FOCUS, the Fellowship Of Christians in Universities and Schools, is the fellowship that I attended through middle and high school and then became a councilor at their camps up on Martha's Vineyard over the summers. FOCUS has been a constant good presence in my life - whether it is in the form of reaffirming my faith, pushing me to new heights of finding myself, or networking with great people from all up and down the east coast.
Each year, the 'southern' school FOCUS groups gather here at UVA for 'Cville Weekend' filled with talks, hanging out w/ camp friends, a concert, and lots of good stuff. This weekend we had great weather and got to go up to Carter's Mountain w/ the guys and gals. It was awesome to just spend time with old and new friends and feel like the weekend was really devoted to serving them. I remember being a student at these events and everything was always perfect; it's kinda nice to be on the flip side and be a leader. Good times. :)
