I'm usually wary to try new beers. I know what I like and I kinda stick to it. Why spend money on a drink that you won't be able to enjoyably consume? Over the summer, as a new 21 year old, I mistakenly bought a whole case of a random beer to try it out. Bad choice. Since then however, I've gotten the chance to try a few new ones that I find quite nice.Two of the beers that I would place way up there are produced by the same local brewery: Starr Hill. The Jomo Lager and The Love are the two ale's I've taken a liking to. This past week after finally getting my car out of the snow, I actually had an itching to go buy some. I brought a case of The Love home and hadn't touched the set of 6 yet.
Today, as my parents came to visit for the afternoon, my dad noticed the case while sitting on my rocker. I showed him the beers and spoke highly of it. On his way out this evening, he grabbed the case and gave me a cute little smile saying 'Thanks for the drinks!' haha.
I guess I'm just spreading the Love this Valentines Day.
