vigil

Last night at the Vigil for Yeardley over 1500 students gathered in the amphitheater, many holding candles. I stood in the back and happened to enter a bit late, when Casteen had just started speaking. Standing next to my friend Alex from my first year hall, I listened as President Casteen's voice shook with sadness as he addressed the student body. I couldn't help but feel tears rolling down my cheeks. If you missed the vigil, you can watch it here: http://www.nbc29.com/global/Category.asp?C=175568&clipId=4760848&autostart=true
While I hated that there were so many news crews there, and even more so that two of them came up to me asking questions, I am minorly grateful that the vigil was recorded. This is surely not something I'll forget.
