It's Wedding Season

In the last few weeks, many acquaintances of mine have been getting hitched. There were two weddings on the same day, a week after graduation. Since then, another 4 people I once knew had wedding pictures popping up on their facebook pages.

This weekend, I have the lovely honor of attending two glorious weddings! On Friday, my apartment mate (who I spoke of in an earlier post when she got engaged) will be getting married in Harrisonburg and the following day on Saturday, two other friends will be tying the knot out at Wintergreen. I've been looking forward to these two weddings for a couple weeks now for a few reasons. For one, my summer has been super chill so far and I haven't done much of anything. So this weekend will be action packed. Another reason I am stoked though, is that these weddings are great excuses for friends to come together. I haven't seen a larger group of my friends since the week after graduation and it will just be nice to come together in one place and celebrate one big party. And finally, I am so happy for both of the couples. Last summer I went to a number of weddings in which I only knew either the bride or the groom. For both of these upcoming weddings though, I know both brides and both grooms and have been able to build relationships with each of them.
