You know how cliche commercials and tv shows often include a 'first day of class' scene where a little kid boards a yellow school bus and turns back to wave to their parent(s)? Well, I can't say I remember my first ever day of school but if I did, perhaps I'd be thinking about that today as we start our first day of 4th year.
I'm excited for new classes and learning but of course not in the proper mindset for course work etc. I have no books yet, so that should demonstrate how prepared I am. At the same time, my friend Ben isn't even in the country today even though classes start. He's stuck on a beautiful island in the Atlantic hoping to get back reasonably soon.
Well, off to classes I go...
